About Me
Hi, I'm the Tent Lady!
I am a retired nurse and I love to work with people but sewing has been my hobby for many years. I have been making these hand-made play tents for about 40 years and its enjoyable to see children's eyes light up when they play with them.
My husband and I have joined forces to create these tents, he with the wood and wiring and myself with the fabrics and sewing. And after successfully selling them at craft fairs and such, I have decided to create this website for their purchase online.
In December 2013, my son David passed away. It is the wish of David's loved ones to start a scholarship for a student in the trade of auto-body repair at Cobourg Collegiate who shares the same passion for it as David did. 100% of the profits from these tents will fund the scholarship to provide a chosen student with an opportunity to help them with their education. David's business partner of Cal-Kor auto-body repair shop is also generously contributing to the scholarship.
